Armadillo is an aerospace company in Mesquite, Texas. Te company is funded heavily by John Carmack (creator of the video game Doom). They are a competitor in the space tourism industry with goals of orbital spaceflight. They were a competitor in the Lunar Lander Challenge where they failed to win the Level 1 prize after three failed attempts. Shown here is a successful attempt from another time.
